Gather & Analyze Data
Gathering data is great, but we have to know what data is important and what type of questions produce what we're looking for in data. Read "Designing Assessments Using The Power of Google Forms," by Gary Johnson to make sure your assessment matches your learning target.
Evaluate What You See
Check out the mix-subject form that was used to collect data from a class. When you finish looking at the survey, click the “Summary of Responses”. What can you infer about this class based on the data? What decisions can you make based on what you see? Add your ideas to the Data Evaluation document below.
Creating Google Forms
Now it's time for you to create your own form. Log into your SCCPSS Google account and either follow the written instructions or watch the video tutorial below courtesy of Bryony Taylor. If you're using a personal Google Account, please see the resources section below for instructions for personal accounts.
Apply What You Know
Now it's time to put your new skill to work. Create 2 formative assessment forms and 1 student interest inventory form. Paste the links to your published forms here.
